The first class can be a try out class without a uniform, wear comfortable training equipment. If you decide to join we have very well priced uniforms available.
As a beginner you will start with 3 classes per week. After moving up the belt ranks you can join the competition class and kobudo class as well.
Kids classes are 45 minutes long, while teens and adult classes are 1 hour long.
No, training in Shotokan karate is not considered dangerous. Research indicates that Shotokan karate has a low risk of severe injury compared to high-impact contact sports or full-contact martial arts, largely because traditional sparring relies on controlled, non-contact or light-contact rules.
