KARATE VARSITY PROGRAM

**INTRODUCING THE AAU KARATE VARSITY PROGRAM!**

AAU Karate is proud to introduce the **AAU Karate Varsity Program** — a new way to recognize student-athletes for their commitment, achievement, leadership, and continued participation in karate.

The Varsity Program gives athletes the opportunity to build a record of their accomplishments both **inside and outside the dojo**, while earning recognition for the dedication it takes to balance academics, training, competition, service, and personal development.

**Athletes can be recognized for:**

• Participation in AAU Karate
• Competition and training achievements
• Leadership and service
• Continued development in karate
• Academic and school involvement
• Multiple years of participation in the Varsity Program

Participants will be able to maintain an **AAU Karate Varsity Activity Log**, document their accomplishments, and work toward official AAU Karate Varsity recognition.

This program is about more than winning medals.

It is about recognizing the **student-athlete**, celebrating long-term commitment, and giving karate athletes another way to proudly represent their accomplishments at school, in their dojo, and in their community.
